Never Omit the Video.

If you haven't seen the video to your left before, you may want to grab the tissues. This post is just another one to encourage your decision on why you need the video- not just the pictures. They say a picture is worth a thousand words; but you don't need to imagine those words when you can relive the actual ones.

This video was not done by Mike Picard Motion Pictures, but we chose it because it is a very meaningful one that could not have been shared in the way it has been with photos alone. This very endearing moment shared between this bride and groom is certainly something they want to remember clearly, and share with the world, because it's just THAT special to them, and they never want to forget it. Just as you wouldn't want to forget your special day. Whether it be your wedding, a reunion, or a very important milestone. Having a professional film your special moment isn't something you should think of as an "extra". Many don't realize until it's too late just how important video is. A photo is very special, and it is something you can look at and smile as you reminisce. But a video is an entirely different story, it's a story in itself. You can re-watch the day from an entirely different perspective, and see everything you may have looked over on the day of because you were so busy. You can relive it over and over again, and listen to every word and see every smile and tear.

We recently had a bride reach out to us to share just how much her wedding movie meant to her. When discussing her video, she said "honestly, I almost could have gone without the professional photos cause I barely look at them, but I watch my videos every few weeks". This is something many have experienced, and unfortunately, there is no do over. So we just want to remind whoever is reading this, to think long and hard before choosing photographs over video, if it comes down to it.
