Ceremony Sound Quality

Today, we want to discuss the importance of having a mic on your priest during the ceremony. Before your ceremony begins, we like to mic the reader's pulpit, the groom, and the priest. This is because we want your video to have the best sound quality as possible. When the priest is presenting his/her homily, it's important to capture all of the sound clearly, for this portion of your video, leading into the vows. The bride and groom are close enough to each other that the bride's voice can be picked up from the groom's mic during the vows. However, we often come across the issue of the priest turning down the option of wearing a mic, causing frustration for us as we are unable to get the quality sound for your video. The priest may commonly believe that the church's microphone will be enough- but it is not. We provide the most convenient and comfortable mics that simply clip onto the priest's robe as the recorder fits comfortably in the pocket. The mic is never in the way, as we make sure it is comfortable and discreet. As we ask for permission to put the mic on, we of course hope for a "yes" from the priest prior to the ceremony, but that's not always the response we receive. So, to prevent this, we ask our future brides and grooms to PLEASE ask your priests to wear a mic from the videography team during the ceremony before your wedding day. For the sake of what could be an outstanding, quality video. We promise it will be worth it!
